Short-term goals

As a non-profit helping those in desperate need, our immediate aim is delivering food where it is needed, and quickly. This is the moment our volunteers turn into heroes.

Once needs are assessed, we try, where possible, to buy food close to the area in need to boost the local economy. We prioritise the most vulnerable, ensuring food parcels reach them first.

Long-term goals

In 2022/23, a staggering 7.2 million people in the UK were living in food-insecure households — a significant rise on the year before, indicating a growing crisis. The most vulnerable groups include children, working-age adults and pensioners.

Reliance on food banks has also increased dramatically, with 2.3 million people accessing these services in 2023 — highlighting the widespread issue of food poverty in the UK.
